-Overview of Pacuwa Development Initiative (PDI) -
PACUWA DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE (PDI) is a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), duly registered to the Government of Uganda. Te Organisation was founded by a group of dedicated individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of marginalized communities. The Organisation focuses on providing livelihood programs, education services, stopping child trafficking, promoting bible studies, supporting and sponsoring sports events where the youths are brought together to fight a common challenge . The Organisation seeks to promote and expand on the number of solidary teachers and provide food security related services. We embrace working with local partners and international Organisations to deliver critical aid including food, shelter and medical care. Over the years, our mission has evolved to reflect our commitment to empowering marginalized communities. We recognize that poverty and inequality are complex issues that require sustained efforts and cooperation. Our Organisation thrives to become a leader in the field of community development with a focus on education, healthcare, environment and socio economic empowerment of marginalized communities
Education
PDI pushes for reduction of illiteracy rates by promoting child education through linking vulnerable to sponsors, fighting for children's rights and protection and improving school infrastructures for better learning outcomes and more
Livelihood
PDI initiates livelihood programs encompassing microfinance, agricultural development, entrepreneurial skill training to help vulnerable communities get out of poverty
Health
PDI strives strives for the overall well-being of communities including physical, emotional, and socio-health. Our health initiatives encompass health education, behaviours, services and key determinants of community health
